Gaming is often considered a hobby and often considered useless. But if this hobby of gaming turns into a passion, then your luck can also change. Something similar has happened with Shwetank Pandey of Lucknow. This young man who is passionate about gaming has become the Chief Gaming Officer of Chinese mobile brand IQOO with a package of millions.

Passion for sports

Shwetank’s story is like a film script. Talking about his journey from student to becoming a CGO, Shwetank recently said in Lucknow, “The journey has been fantastic because if you are doing e-sports in India, it is really difficult to give time for it and get family support for it. Shwetank had sought a year’s time from his family, adopting his passion for gaming and so he also bought a smartphone on equal monthly installments (EMIs). After this, it is his destiny to appoint 23-year-old Shwetank as the Chief Gaming Officer (CGO) of IQOO.

Gaming started from 12th grade

“It is because of my family that I was able to take up e-sports. I started e-sports in 2019, when I was in 12th grade. I used to play games with my friends then, but it wasn’t competitive. “After doing intermediate, I did my graduation with a focus on communication skills. I also worked for a year to assure my family that their child’s future is safe and there is no doubt in their minds. Shwetank abandoned the idea of continuing his MBA. “While on my job, I bought a phone on EMI and told my family that I bought it with my own money so that I could do gaming properly. This is 2022. “

iQOO first CGO

Expressing happiness over becoming the CGO of iQOO, Shwetank said, “I feel on top of the world right now. When I initially filled out the form, I didn’t have the desire and was hoping to join the final participants. I didn’t know this would happen, it got me this far and eventually I became iQOO’s first CGO. “
