लिस्टिड गेमिंग और हॉस्पिटैलिटी कंपनी डेल्टा कॉर्प लिमिटेड की सब्सिडयरी कंपनी डेल्टाटेक गेमिंग लिमिटेड ने जीएसटी नोटिस पर कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट में एक रिट दाखिल की है। 13 अक्टूबर को डीजीजीआई ने कंपनी को दिए गए 6384 करोड़ रुपये के कारण बताओ नोटिस के संबंध में यह याचिका दायर की है। डेल्टाटेक गेमिंग लिमिटेड बनाम भारत संघ, 29 नवंबर को न्यायमूर्ति मोहम्मद निज़ामुद्दीन की एकल न्यायाधीश पीठ के सामने कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट में सुनवाई के लिए लिस्टिड है।
डेल्टा कार्प ने टैक्स नोटिस पर कहा कि डीजीजीआई के टैक्स डिमांड में कानूनी तौर पर बहुत समर्थन नहीं है और उम्मीद जताई कि अदालत में यह मामला ज्यादा टिक नहीं पाएगा। कंपनी को हाल ही में इसी तरह के एक मामले में अंतरिम राहत दी गई थी जहां 628 करोड़ रुपये का जीएसटी कारण बताओ नोटिस दिया गया था। सिक्किम उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायमूर्ति भास्कर राज प्रधान की एकल न्यायाधीश पीठ ने कंपनी के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाया और मामले को फरवरी 2024 में अंतिम सुनवाई के लिए लिस्ट किया है।

जीएसटी नोटिस को लेकर पूरी गेमिंग इंडस्ट्री में ही दबाव में है। डेल्टा कार्प की तरह ही बहुत सारी अन्य गेमिंग कंपनियों को भी टैक्स नोटिस मिले हैं। जिनको लेकर कई कंपनियां कोर्ट चली गई है। इनमें गेम्सक्राफ्ट का टैक्स नोटिस मामला तो सुप्रीम कोर्ट में लिस्टिड है।
मुंबई पुलिस कमिश्नर (Mumbai Police Commissioner) ने बुधवार को महादेव सट्टेबाजी ऐप से जुड़े 15,000 करोड़ रुपये के अवैध जुए और साइबर धोखाधड़ी से संबंधित एफआईआर को अपराध शाखा को स्थानांतरित कर दिया है।
मामले में आरोपी बनाए गए 32 लोगों में ऐप के प्रमोटर सौरभ चंद्राकर, रवि उप्पल और शुभम सोनी के अलावा डाबर ग्रुप के मोहित और गौरव बर्मन शामिल हैं। इससे पहले, छत्तीसगढ़ पुलिस ने इस मामले में 75 एफआईआर दर्ज की थीं, जिसके बाद प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने मामले की जांच की। मुंबई पुलिस के अधिकारियों ने यह स्पष्ट नहीं किया कि मुंबई में एफआईआर क्यों दर्ज की गई। यह बर्मन बंधुओं के खिलाफ दर्ज दो एफआईआर में से पहली है, जिनके खिलाफ रेलिगेयर एंटरप्राइजेज के एक शेयरधारक द्वारा दी गई शिकायत के संबंध में चार दिन बाद 11 नवंबर को उसी माटुंगा पुलिस स्टेशन में दूसरी एफआईआर दर्ज की गई थी। दोनों मामलों में, मजिस्ट्रेट अदालत के आदेश के आधार पर एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है। जहां पहली एफआईआर बुधवार को क्राइम ब्रांच को ट्रांसफर कर दी गई, वहीं दूसरी एफआईआर भी दूसरी यूनिट में ट्रांसफर किए जाने की संभावना जताई जा रही है। एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने इसकी पुष्टि की कि महादेव ऐप मामले में दर्ज एफआईआर को मुंबई अपराध शाखा को स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया है, जो अब साइबर पुलिस की मदद से मामले की जांच शुरू करेगी। 7 नवंबर को 25 पेज की एफआईआर माटुंगा निवासी प्रकाश बनकर की शिकायत के आधार पर दर्ज की गई थी। यह मुख्य रूप से महादेव ऐप की सब्सिडियरी खिलाड़ी ऐप के इर्द-गिर्द है। एफआईआर में क्रिकेट मैच फिक्सिंग, हवाला लेनदेन और क्रिप्टो करेंसी नेटवर्क के जरिए कथित मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के गंभीर आरोपों का जिक्र है। बैंकर ने अपने बयान में आरोप लगाया है कि आरोपी चंद्राकर और अन्य लोग मैच फिक्सिंग कर रहे हैं और इससे पैसा कमा रहे हैं। बनकर के मुताबिक, भारत में आयोजित और संचालित प्रमुख क्रिकेट मैचों और टूर्नामेंटों के मैच फिक्सिंग में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल हैं।

एफआईआर के मुताबिक, चंदर अग्रवाल रवि उप्पल के अलावा महादेव ऐप घोटाले के कथित मास्टरमाइंड सौरभ चंद्राकर को भी जानते हैं। जांच के दौरान चंद्राकर के लंदन स्थित सहयोगी दिनेश खंभात का नाम भी सामने आया है। एफआईआर में उनकी भूमिका के खुलासे से ईडी को कुछ व्यक्तियों और चंद्राकर के बीच व्यापक संपत्ति कनेक्शन और सट्टेबाजी को जोड़ने में मदद मिली है।
एफआईआर में माटुंगा निवासी का नाम शामिल
एफआईआर में माटुंगा निवासी अमित शर्मा के नाम का भी जिक्र है, जो फिलहाल दुबई में रह रहे हैं। चंद्राकर के करीबी सहयोगी होने के आरोप में, उसे पहले केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो द्वारा गिरफ्तार किया गया था और यहां तक कि उसने जेल में भी समय बिताया था। एफआईआर के अनुसार, शर्मा न केवल चंद्राकर का करीबी है, बल्कि डी-कंपनी से जुड़े विभिन्न व्यावसायिक कारोबार का भागीदार भी है। चंद्राकर के निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए, वह दाऊद इब्राहिम के भाई मुस्तकीम का बिजनेस पार्टनर बन गया और सट्टेबाजी व्यवसाय सहित उसके विभिन्न उद्यमों में शामिल हो गया। एफआईआर में कहा गया है कि मुस्तकीम के निर्देश पर, शर्मा ने मीरा रोड में विभिन्न बिल्डिंग में भारी मात्रा में निवेश किया है। इसी तरह, हेमंत सूद, जिनका नाम एफआईआर में क्रम संख्या 17 पर है, पर चंद्राकर से कथित संबंध हैं और वर्तमान में अबू धाबी में रहते हैं।
गेमिंग और ई-स्पोर्ट्स कंपनी JetSynthesys अब अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विस्तार करने जा रही है। इसके लिए जेटसिंथेसिस अब डिजिटल हार्ट्स होल्डिंग्स (डीएचएच) के साथ हाथ मिलाया है। DHH जापान की एक लिस्टिड कंपनी है जोकि JetSynthesys को तकनीकी तौर में मदद करेगी।
