रेड कार्नर नोटिस के जरिए भारत लाए जाएंगे Mahadev app के सौरभ चंद्राकर और रवि उप्पल

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने #Mahadevapp के मालिकों पर अपना शिकंजा कस दिया है। निदेशालय ने मनी लांड्रिंग के केस में सौरभ चंद्राकर और रवि उप्पल के खिलाफ रेड कॉर्नर नोटिस जारी करने का काम शुरू कर दिया है। यह दोनों दुबई में बैठकर भारत में जुआ खिलवा रहे हैं और यहां से पैसा हवाला के जरिए विदेशों में लेकर जा रहे हैं।

इससे पहले ईडी ने Mahadev app जुआ मामले में सौरभ चंद्राकर के भाई समेत 4 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया था> सौरभ चंद्राकर और रवि उप्पल ने मिलकर छत्तीसगढ़ के भिलाई से लोगों को जुआ खेलना शुरू किया था और बाद में पुलिस के डर से दोनों दुबई भाग गए थे। इन दोनों के खिलाफ लुकआउट नोटिस भी कई महीने पहले जारी हुआ था।

कौन सी बैंच सुनेगी 21 हज़ार करोड़ रुपये की टैक्स चोरी का मामला

गेमस्क्राफ्ट टेक्नोलॉजी पर 21000 करोड रुपए के टैक्स का मामला अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आ गया है। इस मामले की सुनवाई  CJI Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala & Justice Manoj Misra की बेंच करेगी।

केंद्र सरकार ने कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट के गेमस्क्राफ्ट के पक्ष में दिए फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपील की है।  इनकम टैक्स विभाग ने गेमस्क्राफ्ट टेक्नोलॉजी पर 21000 करोड रुपए की टैक्स देनदारी बताई थी, जिसके बाद गेमस्क्राफ्ट टेक्नोलॉजी ने इनकम टैक्स के खिलाफ कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट में एक अपील दायर की थी। जिस के फैसले में गेमस्क्राफ्ट टेक्नोलॉजी  के खिलाफ मामले को खारिज कर दिया गया था और कंपनी को बड़ी राहत मिली थी।

हालांकि इसके बाद केंद्र सरकार ने सभी गेमिंग कंपनीज पर 28 परसेंट जीएसटी लगा दिया है।  जिसको लेकर भी पूरी इंडस्ट्री में काफी परेशानियां हो गई है, कई कंपनियों ने तो अपना कारोबार ही समेट लिया है। जबकि कुछ ने बड़ी संख्या में अपने कर्मचारियों को निकाल दिया है। अब पूरी इंडस्ट्री की निगाह सुप्रीम कोर्ट में इस मामले की सुनवाई पर रहेगी।

छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने महादेव बुक अवैध सट्टेबाजी ऐप घोटाले के संबंध में विपक्ष द्वारा उनकी सरकार की आलोचना का जवाब दिया है। इस मामले की जांच राज्य में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) द्वारा की जा रही है। मीडिया को संबोधित करते हुए, बघेल ने कहा कि ईडी के अधिकारी डर के मारे अपने कबूलनामे के लिए उनके अधिकारियों को प्रताड़ित कर रहे हैं और पीट रहे हैं।

सीएम बघेल ने दावा किया कि मामला बनाने के लिए कोई सबूत नहीं होने के बावजूद विभिन्न केंद्रीय एजेंसियां मामले की जांच कर रही हैं, जिसे अदालतों में भी लाया गया था। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि अगर ऐसा है तो इंटरपोल को भी जांच करने दीजिए। बघेल ने यह भी दावा किया कि यह केवल उनका राज्य है जिसने महादेव बुक ऐप के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप सैकड़ों लोगों की गिरफ्तारी हुई है और मोबाइल फोन और टैबलेट जैसे उपकरण जब्त किए गए हैं, जिनका इस्तेमाल सट्टा लेने के लिए किया गया था।

छत्तीसगढ़ के सीएम ने आगे कहा कि उन्होंने कथित दोषियों के खिलाफ लुकआउट सर्कुलर भी जारी किया है। बघेल ने केंद्र सरकार से पूछा कि वे इस मामले के बारे में क्या कर रहे हैं, उन्होंने कहा कि कथित दोषियों को पकड़ना और महादेव बुक अवैध सट्टेबाजी ऐप पर रोक लगाना केन्द्र सरकार का काम है। बघेल ने कहा कि अगर केंद्र सरकार सट्टेबाजी और जुए पर प्रतिबंध लगाना चाहती है और दावा करती है कि छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य सरकार भी सट्टेबाजी संचालन में शामिल है, तो वे अन्य जुआ गतिविधियों पर 28% जीएसटी क्यों लगा रहे हैं?

उन्होंने आगे पूछा कि महादेव बुक ऐप को उनकी सरकार द्वारा कार्रवाई किए जाने के बावजूद अभी तक प्रतिबंधित क्यों नहीं किया गया है, जिसके बाद ईडी भी शामिल हो गया। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि ऐप्स पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का अधिकार केंद्र के पास है, न कि उनकी सरकार के पास। महादेव बुक सट्टेबाजी ऐप मामले में ईडी द्वारा हाल ही में तलाशी लेने और बघेल के राजनीतिक सलाहकार विनोद वर्मा और चंद्रभूषण वर्मा नामक एक एएसआई सहित कई लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज करने के बाद राजनीतिक बहस छिड़ गई है।

मध्य प्रदेश के भोपाल के रहने वाले एक इंजीनियरिंग छात्र ने ऑनलाइन गेमिंग की लत के कारण अपनी जीवनलीला ही समाप्त कर ली। जानकारी के मुताबिक 20 वर्षीय युवक का शव टीटी नगर स्थित उसके आवास में लटका हुआ मिला था। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक घटना स्थल पर कोई सुसाइड नोट नहीं मिला है। छात्र के पिता विजय नामदेव ने खुलासा किया कि उनका बेटा दीपक ऑनलाइन गेमिंग एडिक्ट था। जिसके बाद उसने ये कदम उठाया।

पुलिस पूछताछ के दौरान पिता ने बताया कि उनका बेटा अपने स्मार्टफोन पर ऑनलाइन गेमिंग में ज्यादा बिजी रहता था। विजय को संदेह था कि उसका बेटा सट्टेबाजी और जुए जैसी गतिविधियों में भी शामिल था। टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, विजय मालवीय नगर क्षेत्र में एक सब्जी की दुकान चलाता है। दीपक नाम का बेटा भोपाल के एक निजी कॉलेज से बीटेक कर रहा था। एएसआई अखिलेश त्रिपाठी द्वारा आगे पूछताछ करने पर पिता ने यह भी बताया कि दीपक ने कुछ लेनदेन में अपने बैंक खाते से 14,000 रुपये ट्रांसफर किए थे।

Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath may increase stake in Nazara Tech

Nikhil Kamath,co-founder of brokerage firm Zerodha is now reportedly exploring the possibility of investing in Nazara Technologies, one of the largest gaming and sports media firms. According to a CNBC report, Kamath may want to acquire a 3.5% stake in the firm.

Nazara Tech operates Nodwin Gaming, one of the country’s most prominent e-sports organizations. Nodwin recently, raised $28 million in a funding round led by Nazara, Krafton and JetSynthesys. The company also operates another important sports media subsidiary, Sportskeeda.

Kamath currently owns around 1% stake in Nazara and had recently tweeted in support of the video game and esports industry, calling it a good investment opportunity for online real-money games following the change in GST.

The Board of Directors (BoD) of Nazara Tech also approved a proposal to raise Rs 750 crore by issuing equity shares or securities on preferential basis. The meeting is scheduled to take place on September 4, the company said in a recent exchange filing.

“In accordance with Regulation 29 of the Listing Regulations, we would like to inform you that, among other things, the meeting of the Board of Directors of Nazara Technologies Limited (the “Company”) is scheduled to be held on Monday, September 04,2023. Consider and if deemed appropriate, approve raising of funds by issuing equity shares/securities of the company on preferential basis,” it said.
