Maharashtra govt has announced SIT on Mahadev app scam

After the demand for SIT on Mahadev App scam in Delhi, Maharashtra government has announced to form a special investigation team on this matter. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that in the next two months it will report on the links of the scam mastermind Saurabh Chandrakar with terrorist Dawood Ibrahim and a Mumbai builder.
Responding to a call-in-attention by Ashish Selar, MLA of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the ED is investigating the matter.
In the call in attention, MLA Ashish Selar said that this app is registered in CARACAS city of Venezuela, while it operates from Dubai. Who has created more than 67 websites. Therefore there is an issue of jurisdiction of Indian agencies. This app has three partners, which include Saurabh Chandrakar, Ravi Uppal and Amit Sher, out of which Ravi Uppal has been arrested in Dubai.
Selar said that the players playing on this app have to first deposit money in a small bank and then send the screen shot of depositing the money to the operator on Telegram or WhatsApp. Only after this the bet can be placed.
Sellar said that Andelweiss Group Chairman Rashesh Shah had provided financial support to this app. Who has relations with Dawood’s brother Mustaqeem.
