Ravi Uppal, the kingpin of Mahadev Satta App, will be brought to India. ED had given its application in the special court of Raipur, which was accepted by CART. Ravi Uppal is lodged in Dubai jail. To bring him, an application was written to the Dubai court, in which it was said that Ravi Uppal should be brought to India.
According to ED sources, this letter will first be sent to UAE Embassy. After this, action will be taken to extradite Ravi Uppal.
Chhattisgarh and Mumbai police are also investigating
Apart from the Directorate, Chhattisgarh Police and Mumbai Police are also investigating the Mahadev Satta App case. The federal probe agency filed a money laundering case against Uppal and Saurabh Chandrakar, another promoter of the internet-based platform, before a special court under the ‘Prevention of Money Laundering Act’ (PMLA) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh in October. Charge sheet was filed in the case.
Interpol later issued a Red Corner Notice on the request of the Enforcement Directorate. The agency had told the court in the charge sheet that Uppal holds a passport of Vanuatu, an island country in the Pacific Ocean, and has not renounced Indian citizenship.

It was alleged that Uppal was overseeing the delivery of bribe money to bureaucrats and politicians of Chhattisgarh through an assistant sub-inspector of police ‘Chandrabhushan Verma’ and some others.

Payment of Rs 508 crore to Baghel
According to the Enforcement Directorate, the estimated proceeds of crime in this case are around Rs 6,000 crore. The agency had claimed just before the first phase of Chhattisgarh assembly elections in November (CG News) that forensic analysis and the statement given by a person named Aseem Das had made ‘shocking’ revelations.
