73 lakh rupees stolen from maternal uncle due to addiction of online gaming

Due to his addiction to online betting and gaming, a young man from Rajasthan stole Rs 73 lakh from his uncles’ accounts and invested it in betting. A young man in Dausa district lost Rs 1 crore 91 lakh in this. This came to light when the maternal uncles of accused youth Vishram Meena filed a case in Colva police station that Rs 75 lakh had been fraudulently withdrawn from their accounts by their own nephew. The accused nephew often used to visit his maternal uncle’s house. Recently, when an uncle needed money for his daughter’s marriage, he went to the bank. As soon as he came to know about this in the bank, the ground slipped from under his feet.
Dausa Additional Superintendent of Police Shankarlal Meena said that the land of four brothers living in Dhanavad village of Kolwa police station area of Dausa district was acquired on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. For this, all four brothers had received compensation of more than Rs 1 crore 10 lakh from the government in 2019. Some of this amount was withdrawn by all four brothers. After that an amount of about Rs 73 lakh was deposited in his account. Of these, the accused youth fraudulently withdrew about Rs 72.5 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh from the account of an uncle’s daughter.
Accused nephew Vishram Meena is a resident of Rajwas village. He used to frequently visit the house of four maternal uncles, Ramswaroop Meena, Narsi Meena, Ghamandilal and Mukesh Kumar, residents of Dhanavad. The accused nephew, while living at his maternal home, stole his uncle’s ATM and used it on his mobile phone. Withdrawal of money from an account through phone pay. At the same time, three maternal uncles and one maternal uncle’s daughter stole ATM and withdrew cash.
After this, Vishram kept withdrawing money from the account, sometimes through ATM and sometimes through phone pay. In the last three years, he withdrew an amount of Rs 75 lakh from four accounts. On March 12, the marriage of two daughters of the accused’s maternal uncle Narsi Meena is taking place. When uncle Narsi Meena went to the bank to withdraw cash for the wedding, he found only Rs 33500 in it. The other brothers also had nominal amounts in their accounts.
